In 1539, Henry Davell — the last Abbot of Whitby — was forced to surrender the Abbey to Henry VIII in the Dissolution. He left in bewilderment, a broken man with a shattered conscience, to die insane within the year. The Ghost of Whitby carries his story in pewter and pearl, a piece of history worn close to the heart.

Intricately detailed antiqued pewter Gothic tracery holds a dark mother of pearl disc at its centre, finished with a silver night Austrian Swarovski crystal that catches the light like something half-remembered from another century. At 73mm tall, it is unmistakably a statement — for your darkest occasions, and the ones that deserve to be remembered.
